FAQ

What are your shipping containers made up of?
Our shipping containers are made up of highly durable marine-grade corten steel that is strong enough to withstand the extremes of weather for a long period of time. In fact, they are strong enough to last a lifetime.

What dimensions do your shipping containers come up with?
At Budget Shipping Containers, we are home to 10 ft, 20 ft, and 40 ft containers. For the 20-foot containers, we offer new as well as old versions.

Why should I choose your shipping containers rather than other modular structures and other brick-and-mortar buildings?
Our shipping containers are mobile, cost-effective, highly stubborn, and need hardly any maintenance for long. Thus, when you use them, new or used, they act as a very good cost-saver.

How can I be sure that I am getting a quality container when I am purchasing them from you?
When the containers are received at our facility after being manufactured, they are subjected to stringent tests and scrutiny to ensure that they are up to the mark from their qualitative point of view.

What are the floors of your shipping containers made up of?
The floor of the shipping containers is made up of marine-grade bamboo or plywood. The term’ marine grade’ implies that the wood comes with more ply than the traditional plywoods used for construction. Thus, these plywoods are stable and do not easily warp when subjected to pressure.

Should I opt for new or used containers?
This is entirely your discretion. That means you can either go for the new or opt for the used version. Our used containers may contain just a few minor dents and cracks, but that does not make any difference from a qualitative point of view.

What types of doors do your 20-foot containers have?
Our 20-foot shipping containers generally come with cargo doors at one of the ends. However, some of our 20-foot containers come with double doors, with cargo doors at both ends.

For what purpose can the shipping containers be used?

How should I maintain the shipping containers?
Our shipping containers require very little maintenance. However, you just have to make sure that you do not inflict any damage to the interiors of the containers while loading and unloading the goods or overload the containers with too much weight.
