When the haul is short, the grade is the bill

Because the container only travels a short distance from Berrimah, its purchase price makes up most of a Palmerston total, and the grade decision has more effect on what you pay than anything else. Buy the grade the contents need, not the one that sounds safest. A garage's worth of household goods, a small business's boxed stock or a set of power tools needs to stay dry through the Wet, and that means cargo-worthy, checked wind and watertight before it leaves the depot, or new single-trip.
