A flexible date and a fixed day are different quotes
Sunshine Coast orders are confirmed when you place them, once the size and grade are set. A date that can move may share a truck already working the Coast. A dedicated day is quoted as its own run.
Pictures of the entry, the run-in and the spot settle the vehicle. Ask for photos of the unit itself if you want them before it leaves; they are not tied to payment.
Blackall Range drives, then the sandy coastal strip
Acreage through Beerwah, Landsborough, Palmwoods and the Blackall Range is the easier half: long drives, room to turn, ground that generally carries a truck outside the wet. Watch the grade of the drive and low branches. A lot of those approaches were cut for a car, not a rigid with a container on the back.
Alexandra Headland, Mooloolaba, Buddina and older streets behind Maroochydore are the difficult half. Short frontages, cars both sides, mature planting, and plenty of units or duplexes with a marked bay instead of a yard. Sand runs a long way inland and looks firm until a concentrated load stands on it, which is exactly a crane pad or a corner casting.
Hinterland buyers often start on a 20ft and then look at a 40ft because the floor doubles for one delivery. The 40ft needs a longer straight run and a bigger vehicle. On a curved or steep Blackall Range drive, measure that straight run before you fall in love with the extra length. Caloundra South, Aura and Palmview builds are more often a site box than a farm shed.
Small crops, nurseries, board racks and site sheds

Cargo-worthy is the grade we release only after a wind-and-water check, and that check is about rain from above. As-is stays the grade that is not sold watertight. A nursery that must keep seed dry is not the same buy as a stack of irrigation pipe that already lives outside.
Hinterland drives and coastal sand, checked before the truck rolls
Beerwah, Landsborough and Palmwoods approaches were often cut for a ute. Walk the drive with a 4-metre mental width and a rigid's turning need, not with the car you own. A bend that your wagon takes in one move can stop a truck with a box on the back. Low branches over the Blackall Range section are the usual second stop. Trim them before the booking, not after the truck is already on the drive.
On the coastal side, Alexandra Headland, Mooloolaba and Buddina frontages are short and parked. A marked bay at a duplex is not a placement pad. If the only space is a visitor bay, the body corporate — not the driver — decides whether a box may sit there. Warana and Coolum trade sites are simpler; Kunda Park industrial ground usually is too.
Caloundra South, Aura and Palmview site boxes are often wanted for a build program that slips. If the date is 'when the slab is poured', say that the slab date moves, and give the earliest the ground will actually carry a truck. Sand that looks pale and firm still punches under a corner.
A 40ft on acreage is attractive because one trip buys twice the floor. It is the wrong appetite if the straight run at the pad is short. Measure that run first. The booking is the same either way; the vehicle class is not.
